'VP of Artificial Intelligence Recruiting' is often market language.
It frequently means talent acquisition or HR with AI tools.
That is not the product.
I run retained AI Executive Search mandates from Hamburg for DACH seats. AI-in-recruiting tools are another spoke. Here the move is the VP title collision.
A TA VP with AI tooling does not staff the AI decision seat.
VP AI owns the yes only when the role is truly that seat.
Otherwise the recruiting phrase misleads.
This is not AI inside the recruiting tool. Depth sits on 'search for AI leaders, not AI-in-recruiting' and on Money.
When VP AI is the bearer, they buy the AI Executive Search mandate.
When they want TA leadership or software, they are in the wrong place.
### Does the phrase mean a TA seat?
Often yes. Then it is not our product.
### When is VP AI the mandate?
Only when the role holds stop and yes.
